The Volunteer Champions will *Participate in campus events in a specific college or university to recruit student volunteers. *Work with staff to design volunteer outreach flyers *Post/distribute flyers in a college or university *Answer basic questions that potential volunteers may have regarding volunteering with Mid-Pen *Identify the interest and preference (i.e., location and schedule) of potential volunteers. *Work with staff to match potential volunteers to the appropriate volunteer placement site. * Have flexible volunteer schedule. * Gain community outreach experience.
