Alta Bates Summit Foundation is the fund raising entity for Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, a 1,000 bed facility with campuses in Oakland and Berkeley. We are looking for a business-oriented individual with knowledge of fund raising principles. This position involves working with the medical center’s accounting and finance staff, preparing the budget in conjunction with the Foundation President, overseeing financial statements and reports, participating in tax preparation information and audits. This position also communicates regularly with the department managers who can access restricted donations for the programs and services in their particular service area. Responsibilities include: Budget : With CEO, prepare annual Foundation budget. Monitor development activity statements for accuracy. Monitor expenditures to stay within budget.
