Marin Abused Women's Services is a non-profit community agency working at the county, state and national level to end violence against women who are battered or at risk of abuse. Women, children and men can access knowledge and resources for achieving violence-free lives through MAWS diverse programs, including 24-hour hotlines, emergency shelter, transitional housing, support and education groups, community prevention and education projects and a men's program. This position is for a bilingual (Spanish) domestic violence response team (DVRT) advocate who will provide immediate outreach to victims of a domestic violence crime. The DVRT is a project of the Womens Community Advocacy Program (WCAP) of MAWS. The DVRT Advocate will be supervised by the WCAP Manager.
