As a Volunteer You Will: - Receive comprehensive training to be an effective tutor/mentor - Be paired with a student who fits your personality and age preference - Have the option of attending on-going trainings and workshop sessions - Dedicate 1.5 hours per week in an afternoon or evening session between Mon-Thurs - Be part of a program that has served the West Oakland community for over 11 years - Have fun and make a positive impact on a young student's early academic development!
