• Work along side movers to assist in the moving and set up of required items for special events.
• Conduct weekly inventory of all mover equipment, i.e. dollies, table cloths, speed bins, carts straps etc.
• Ensure that the movers are conducting walkthrough of the sites to remove trash and debris.
• Meet with Classroom Coordinator in regards to all classroom changes, during the semester and at the end of the semester.
• Conduct inventory of all classroom furniture remaining after classroom modifications.
• Communicate with the Director of Operations daily and update on the plan for the day and the week.
• Meet with various departments on a weekly basis for any upcoming events.
• Communicate with the Housing and Academic Facilities Managers daily to assess their needs.

• Manage Hazardous Waste Stream through all Academy Buildings.
• Review and schedule moving pick-up points utilizing the Track-It Software through the Business Operations Help Desk.
• Maintain permits and licensing with the Environmental Protection Agency that are applicable to the Academy.
• Maintain permit and licensing with the Department of Public Works, that are applicable to the Academy.
• Conduct quarterly inspections of all Academy sites that fall under Hazardous Waste Compliance.
• Attend yearly Hazardous Waste Handler Training.
• Communicate with the Safety Officer for the Academy in regards to all non-compliance and Safety Related items in regards to Hazardous Waste Operating inspections.
• Communicate with the various departments for scheduling of items to be set-up and moved throughout the Academy Buildings
• Maintain storage sites located throughout the Academy Buildings for inventory.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 5 years of moving supervisory experience.
• HAZWOPER certified and / or previous HAZWOPER training a huge plus
• Valid California Drivers License (no endorsements required)
• Ability to drive a box truck and 24ft truck within the city.
• Ability to work well independently.
• Must take direction well and is self-motivated.
• Good time management skills.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Able to work weekends as needed and flex hours.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Required to lift and bend and carry object daily.
• Knowledge and proper usage of equipment and tools of the trade, i.e. hand trucks, appliance trucks, wrapping goods, transporting and securing of loads in order to avoid damage.
