We are currently seeking hard working, motivated, WOMEN and MEN to join our Security Screening workforce at the San Francisco International Airport. The starting hourly rate is $15.00 during training, after completion of training $18.38, advancement opportunities are also continuously available.
Job Description:
Provide frontline security and protection of air travelers, airports, and airplanes.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for identifying dangerous objects in baggage, cargo and on passengers and preventing those objects from being transported on to the aircraft.
Carry out duties in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service
Use diverse, cutting edge electronic detection and imaging equipment
Perform wanding, pat down searches, and operation of x-ray machines, baggage screening and airline ticket checks as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
US Citizenship is REQUIRED.
You must provide proof of US Citizenship, if selected for an interview, by way of ORIGINAL (no copies) certified copy of US Birth Certificate or original US Naturalization certificate. No exceptions will be made.
Must also provide a second piece of government issued identification such as, a current US passport, a current drivers license, a current identification card, or Military ID.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
High school diploma or GED.
Must pass a Drug, Alcohol, and Medical exam.
Knowledge of basic computer skills and software is required.
Must pass a 10 year extensive FBI background investigation, including criminal check, and credit check prior to selection process.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule (airport is open 24/7), no exceptions will be made.
EXCELLENT attendance and STABILITY/LONGEVITY in work history is a required.
Previous military, law enforcement, or security experience is a plus.

Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs
Job requires standing 100% of time
Constant standing, lifting, twisting, and bending
