Job title: Security Manager
Location: San Francisco (Downtown)

HighCom Security Services specializes in providing a complete range of physical protective services with an emphasis on counter-terrorism methods and tactics.

We provide:
• Physical protection of corporate facilities, schools and institutions
• Event protection for trade shows, corporate functions, school field trips, concerts, premieres
• Private individual physical protection- government officials, business executives and other VIPs

General Responsibilities (site specific)
• Act as a go-to person for all security matters for the customer and security team.
• Be in continuous communication with the client for any need or issue.
• Be the point of contact with facility manager on a day-to-day basis.
• Provide professional advice on case of any incident or event, to both the security team and the site staff.
• Oversees the needs and demands of the security team at the site, and keep close contact with HighCom management for any requests or concerns.
• Plan and organize security procedures for all special events at the facility, according to instructions and procedures given by the site Management.
• Responsible point of contact regarding planning and organizing special events, for which HighCom provides full staff for.
• Implement security procedures and protocols according to client’s demands.
• Format and update security manuals.
• Participate in all of HighCom’s managers meetings, and be an active part of the company’s field management.
• Coordinate emergency response based on policy and procedures.
• Coordinate security with adjacent facilities, venues and law enforcement in coordination with security staff.
• Create and write incident reports for all security staff- HighCom’s and others.
• Conduct any needed special investigations in coordination with the security staff and facility Managers.

Requirements:
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must have a valid CA Guard Card
• Fluent in both spoken and written English
• High school diploma or higher
• Able to lift overhead 25 lbs. and climb ladders unassisted
• Working knowledge of MS Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent communications (verbal, written), report writing and presentation skills
• Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time
• 5 plus years in the security management
• Previous law enforcement or military experience preferred
• Be willing to dedicate long term commitment to an excellent company
• Monitor complex, computer based security systems including: Access Control, Alarm Monitoring and CCTV.


Successful candidates may be subject to regular fitness tests and will be required to pass written tests (to satisfy both state and in-house requirements).
