SECURITY OFFICER:
Location: On the campus of Mills College in Oakland, CA
Responsibilities:
Patrol interior and perimeter of company facility. Ensure the safety of students, visitors, staff and security of company property in a university setting. Ensure full compliance with school policies and all local, state and federal laws and regulations relating to emergency management, evacuations, and loss/theft/accident investigations. Interact with campus security and local law enforcement in matters relating to accidents, thefts, property loss. Prepares and assists in the administration and accuracy of all required reports and documentation.
Requirements:
1. Two year degree and two years law enforcement/security related experience performing security officer duties.
2. Excellent oral and written communication skills
3. Proven ability in the security field
4. Knowledge and ability of computer use, including Word, Excel, Access.
5. Ability to work flexible shifts, night weekends including holidays
6. Prior University security experience desired, not required.
7. Possess all current required security related certifications.
