Position requires a minimum of 4-5 years experience within an MRP environment, with a high level of PC expertice - Excel/Word. APIC certification is highly desirable, must have excellent planning and organizing skills, be customer focused, quality oriented and have attention to detail. B.A. degree in Business, Production Operations Management, or related discipline and exposure to network scheduling techniques is highly desirable.
In this position you will be responsible for Production-planning, scheduling for production, preparing production schedules for manufacturing of military and commerical products. You will make sure each operation meets shipping dates according to sales forecasts or cutomer orders. You will analyze production specifications and plant capacity data and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements. You will plan and schedule workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times. Determine the status of assigned projects, expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. You will prepare production reports, you may also prepare purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment, etc.
