Print Production & Finishing Operator - Full Time - Seasonal

We are looking for an
EXPERIENCED Full Time Print Production & Finishing Operator based in our office in Berkeley, California. The candidate will be responsible for printing batch jobs on Xerox DocuColor printers and operating guillotine cutters, jogger, and automated punch equipment. This person will also assist with inventory, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving as needed. These tasks require accuracy and diligence. In addition, the ideal candidate is a team player who is enthusiastic and looking to take on other tasks as assigned. We are definitely looking for someone who is super organized, efficient, has great attention to detail, is smart, and quick on his/her feet, and posses a good sense of humor.
This is a full-time, seasonal position – 8 hours per day.
Primary Duties
1. Operate Xerox DocuColor Printers, Guillotine Cutters, and Automated Punch Equipment
2. Perform final quality control on finished pieces
3. Perform some hand finishing and sorting
4. Perform routine machine maintenance as required
5. Performs packaging and shipping as required
Experience
1. Experience in operating digital printers such as Xerox DocuColor REQUIRED
2. Experience with print finishing equipment such as guillotine cutters, punches, etc.. required
3. Experience with basic PC/Mac operation, Adobe Acrobat, etc...
4. Must be able to lift 50 pounds required
Knowledge, Ability, Skills
1. Excellent eye for detail.
2. Proficient in English Grammar
3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail: ability to prioritize demands and multi-task to compete daily objectives.
5. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
6. Must be a good team player and be able to work unsupervised
