Product Assembler & Packaging - Full Time - Seasonal
TasteBook (www.tastebook.com) is an online retailer of personalized cookbooks located in Berkeley, CA. We are a fast-paced and growing start-up who has received press coverage in numerous publications including The Wall Street Journal, SF Examiner, CNN, Entrepreneur, New York Times, The Today Show, Washington Post, San Jose Mercury News, and many more.
We are looking for Full Time Product Assemblers based in our office in Berleley, California. The candidate will be responsible for hand-assembly and packaging of printed personal cookbooks for customer orders. This person will also assist with order fulfillment, shipping and receiving as needed. These tasks require accuracy and diligence. In addition, the ideal candidate is a team player who is enthusiastic and looking to take on other tasks as assigned. We are definitely looking for someone who is super organized, efficient, has great attention to detail, is smart, and quick on his/her feet, and posses a good sense of humor.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Hand-assembly and packaging of printed personal cookbooks
2. Assisting with order fulfillment
3. Shipping and receiving as needed
4. Task Management- accuracy, precision, and diligence in completion of tasks to specifications
Experience: Previous administrative, fulfillment, mailing services, and/or customer service experience a big plus.
Knowledge, Ability, Skills:
1. Exceptional attention to detail.
2. Enjoys and is adept at hand crafts.
3. Excellent organizational skills - ability to prioritize demands and multi-task to complete daily objectives.
4. Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
5. High School Diploma minimum, some college or 2-4 year degree preferred.
6. Posses a positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm to further contribute to our positive work environment.
Compensation:
1. Full-time, seasonal status, 40 hours per week
2. Salary = $10.00 per hour
