Plan, organize, implement, and manage to ensure safe, economical, and effective use of materials, energy, and personnel; assess and optimize processes and equipment; plan and design systems that improve integration of personnel, materials, equipment, software, and finance; recommend changes to work methods, safety procedures; drive Lean Manufacturing to obtain high-level improvements in all areas of the company; drive consistency of process, training, and reporting across functional teams; direct and formulate procedures and policies to ensure materials are available or delivered when required, and to ensure material flow throughout plant is efficient; manage incoming and outgoing movement of materials; monitor material and supply inventories through computer information systems; manage purchasing and material-handling personnel; other duties as required.
LEAN MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
