S.V. Techsol, Inc. is actively seeking Electro-Mechanical Assemblers to join our team in Cambell , CA . The chosen candidate will be responsible for assembly of parts into complete sub-assemblies, quality testing, and will work closely with other members of our elite team.

This is a full time position, with benefits that include healthcare, personal time off, and company holidays.

Applicants must be energetic, enthusiastic and demonstrate an excellent work ethic; be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment. We are looking for applicants that are perfectionists and extremely organized. Only qualified applicants need apply for this position.

Role and major responsibilities

• Perform assembly on piece parts into completed Sub- assembly using typical assembly tools such as screw drivers, wire crimping tools, and small wrenches.
• Perform assembly of sub components into a system using precision handling techniques to locate proper configuration.
• Ability to build custom wire harnesses, sub-assemblies and complete electro-mechanical systems following a mechanical drawing.
• Perform pre-shipment qualification testing on each system including partical testing in a clean room environment.
• Identify and report non-conforming components both in writing and verbally to supervisor.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner as directed by manufacturing schedule and with minimum supervision.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Experience and background

• High School or equivalent. A.A./A.S in relevant field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years experience in assembly of electromechanical components.
• Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Basic computer skills, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to willingly take on other tasks as needed.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical assembly drawings, electrical schematics and BOMs.
• Basic electro-mechanical assembly skills.
• Knowledge of AC Power, Optics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, mechanical systems or robotics is desirable.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting – ability to lift 70lbs pieces of equipment.
