Blood Centers of the Pacific seeks an Equipment Specialist for busy laboratories and nursing departments throughout our centers. This position is responsible for maintaining complete and adequate paper and electronic records on equipment and defective materials, will perform equipment validations, and/or coordinate maintenance/calibration work on a variety of diagnostic, analytic and monitoring equipment. Will coordinate shipment of equipment to outside vendors. Willingness to work with equipment that may be considered biohazardous. 2 yrs. college in science or electronics preferred. 2 yrs. applicable experience in a laboratory or clinical setting and valid CA driver’s license and acceptable DMV record required.
