Fast-paced custom manufacturer of OEM plastic components is looking for a Tool Crib Attendant

The Tool Crib Attendant will be responsible for ordering, storing, issuing, sharpening, and maintaining all tools and holders for the machine shop. He will be required to use various measurement instruments, sharpening tools, grinders, hand tools, etc. to accomplish his task as Tool Crib Attendant. He must be detail oriented, and a self-starter who can work with minimum supervision. He must be able to communicate effectively with shop personnel. He will use drawings, specs, and/or verbal instructions as well as exercising judgment and experience to plan and accomplish goals. Based on instructions/information given, he will meet the requirements of his job. He must meet deadlines and document progress. He must be flexible, dependable, time conscious, and be able to move from project to project with minimal supervision. He must work closely with the shop management.


Position Requirement:
The Tool Crib Attendant’s responsibilities will include the following:
The ability to order, store, issue, sharpen, and maintain machine shop tools.
The ability to use measurement instruments, sharpening tools, grinders, hand tools, etc.
The ability to interface with other departments to accomplish tasks.
The ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
The ability and maturity to perform in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Maintain a clean work area daily as required.
Working ability to apply all applicable safety requirements to
Assist employees in locating items needed in our manufacturing process.
Uses computerized inventory tracking system to accurately record inventory transactions.
High school graduate, 1 – 2 years experience.
Must be able and willing to work various shifts.
