Marketing: Staff Writer

Job Description
We have an opportunity for staff writer within our Marketing Department. This is a full-time job in our San Francisco headquarters and offers excellent growth potential.
Duties, among others, include:
•Writing briefs and articles for the firm’s monthly trade journal
•Proofreading print and electronic publications
•Providing and updating web content
•Researching technical topics related to the firm’s areas of expertise
•Maintaining and updating graphs and charts for publication in print and online
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess:
•Excellent oral, written and teamwork skills
•A BA or BS degree in English, Journalism or Communications
•One to two years reporting experience, can include collegiate newspapers and internships
•The ability to prioritize and organize a heavy workload and critical projects
•Comfort working on multiple projects with changing priorities and tight deadlines
•A strong work ethic, and positive and mature professional attitude
•A proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
•Advanced Internet research skills.
