Research Associate for Asian-Pacific Media Markets

SNL Kagan is the brand name for SNL Financial’s media business, which draws upon the 40 year history of Kagan Research in covering and forecasting the media business. SNL Kagan counts among its clients global financial institutions, major media & communications companies and innovative technology providers.

Research Associates in our Media and Communications group maintain large bodies of research related to international media economics. Daily work includes supporting a demanding client base by developing qualitative and quantitative analysis including financial models, market size studies and forecasts.

Requirements for success include: strong writing and analysis skills, computer proficiency, strong communication skills, attention to detail, flexibility, organization, problem-solving abilities and a genuine desire to exceed client expectations. The ideal candidate will have a background in quantitative analysis, market analysis and/or strategic consulting. Fluency in an Asian-Pacific language (Mandarin OR Japanese) is required. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance or Accounting preferred. Graduate work in related fields desirable. International travel to be expected.
