Yoga Journal, the world's most widely read yoga magazine, is looking for a spunky, hardworking, tech-savvy associate editor, who is passionate and knowledgeable about yoga.

Our ideal editor is:
Proactive. You will have researched and sketched out a story idea before we realized we needed it.
Creative. You can think visually as well as verbally. You appreciate how words, images, design come together.
Skilled. You know how to assign stories, how to edit messy copy into beautiful prose, and do reporting to fill in the holes as needed.
Organized. You can find what you need in a flash.
Communicative. You pipe up with smart ideas, offer feedback, contribute your vision.
Confident. You can take constructive criticism and apply it, without letting it get you down.
Flexible. You're curious and open to different styles of yoga. You're happy doing a variety of tasks.
Passionate and knowledgeable about yoga. Yes, we said it above, but we're saying it again. Our magazine lives and breathes asana, meditation, and yoga philosophy. If you don't, you won't be a good match.
