Thumbtack.com is searching for a highly skilled and detail oriented Web Production Artist/Graphic Designer to support our Lead Designer. Your primary responsibility will be converting Photoshop mockups into XHTML/CSS. You are aware of cross-browser compatibility issues and can make pages look beautiful in all modern browsers. You have a keen eye for visual design and are able to work under a lead designer.
Requirements:
*Highly proficient writing hand-coded CSS/XHTML from scratch and refining existing code
*Experience with Photoshop and other Adobe CS4 apps
*Ability to build pages in both table and table-less environments
*A link to your portfolio or past work
Bonus points for:
*Experience with User Interface design
*Exposure to Javascript

Job Details
Compensation will be composed of cash and equity, and full benefits are included. Work will be performed on location at our office in the Lower Haight, but we're very flexible in accommodating personal schedules. Start date is negotiable; we're ready to go as soon as you are.
