1105 Media Inc. is seeking an experienced junior web designer to join its creative services team, which provides marketing design for events and web. The junior web designer will be responsible for ongoing production and maintenance of the event/conference web sites, email blasts and other online marketing. This individual will work with marketing managers, art directors, designers, content and operational teams to gather and post information, web sites, emails and other interactive projects.

Duties and responsibilities:
-Use content management tools to implement web site updates (Sitecore)
-Implement daily and weekly site updates and handle regular email production
-Update, modify and correct graphical design elements including navigation elements and images
-Support day-to-day web production requests
-Assist with documentation and maintenance of web authoring best practices
-Maintain online publishing standards throughout the site
-Be able to resolve any issues with the sites working closely with internal and/or external resources
-Work with marketing teams to ensure site is updated in a timely manner and consistent with the brands
-Work with available resources to ensure that content is appropriately tagged for search optimization

Requirements
-A minimum of three years experience in a related position
-Bachelor's degree in art/design
-Prior marketing experience
-Display proficient client-side programming knowledge - Standards-based, HTML, CSS DHTML, JavaScript, DOM-scripting and demonstrable troubleshooting and cross-browser compatibility
-Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator for the creation, production and manipulation of graphics for the Web
-Proficient in Dreamweaver and other web design/development tools
-Familiar with Adobe Flash and ActionScript
-Web design, understanding of typography/composition are important
-Possess a detail-oriented personality with excellent time management and organization skills and able to work well under pressure in a deadline driven environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously
-Project coordination skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
