General Music Specialist for iTunes Music Store Content Control Team (CONTRACT)

Posting Description:

Apple is looking for a qualified candidate to help provide QA for Pop music content.

This individual will be responsible for the following:

* Verifying and correcting metadata on Pop music content that is imported in our internal database
* Troubleshooting display and sales of music content visible in iTunes stores
* Keeping technically abreast of changes, advancements, and/or improvements within internal systems and suggesting further improvements where applicable

Initially offering a 6-month contract. Work must be done on-site at Apple and therefore no option to work remotely.

Qualifications:

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented
- Experience with data management preferred
- Experience with Mac OS X strongly preferred
- Basic editorial experience preferred
- Passion for music and experience with iTunes application and store preferred
