* Able to lift server hardware and in good shape
* Strong Hardware and Networking Skills
* ability to troubleshoot/fix server hardware problems such as test memory, replace cpu fans, clone hard drives, replace power supplies, fix server bootup problems
* ability to mount servers in rack and connect network, power and console cabling. Heavy lifting required
* has knowledge of Linux and Windows Administration including apache/IIS and mysql/mssql
* ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues with servers and switches
Preferential Candidates would have ..
* Linux Administration knowledge advanced level
* Php debugging/troubleshooting experience
* Perl debugging/troubleshooting experience
* Apache administration, including .htaccess and mod_rewrite
* Linux administration, including security auditing, rpm updates, performance tuning
* Mysql administration, performance tuning, security
* ASP and ASP.net programming/troubleshooting a plus
* Cgi and Perl troubleshooting knowledge
* Cell phone with sms ability for paging
* Reliable Car is a plus

Summary:
Reliablehosting.com is currently one of the fastest growing
webhosting companies on the market. We currently manage
over 900 servers at our Carrier Neutral Facility Exchangecolo.com
at 200 Paul. We are a company that offers bonuses, paid vacations,
raises, and telecommuting.
The job will require 24x7 server down support which is rotated between
2 other technicians in the area. Applicants should have a car (or not mind
taking taxi's on the moment) cell phone with email ability and high speed access.
We are looking for friendly technicians that can be friendly to our customers,

Applicants will need to be within 20-30 minutes of 200 Paul in
S.F. but we can consider longer commutes for qualified applicants.
Salary will be based on experience.
