The Berkeley Albany YMCA is looking for a part time Desktop Support Analyst. This position offer’s the benefit of free Bay Area YMCA membership. Hourly compensation is $16-18 an hour DOE.

The ideal candidate must have strong customer service skills. This position will interface with YMCA staff at all levels.
• Patience and ability to speak to non-technical users with clear explanations is a must!
• Comfortable working in a diverse environment.
• A desire to work in a mission-based non-profit organization.
• Strong skills in multi-tasking, working in groups, as well as starting and completing tasks independently.

EXPERIENCE

1. Exceptional troubleshooting/problem solving skills with a can do attitude.
2. A minimum of 3 years work experience with PC, laptop, and server hardware.
3. Experience with configuration imaging software is preferred.
4. Strong work experience with Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2003 (including the Outlook client). Must be proficient in both using and supporting these products.
5. A minimum of 3 years of supporting network services including data backups/restores, antivirus, antispyware, wireless network connectivity, remote access, Terminal Server/Citrix, UPS, and print servers and printer queues.
