M-Th 9am - 6pm pacific (phone and email coverage.)
Friday off.
Sat/Sun: 8 hours, unscheduled (email only). Longer hours may be required during busy periods.
RATE: $42,000 per year
Full Time position with health insurance benefits and stock options will be considered within 60 days. Initially on contract.

Responsibilities:
-Answer all email inquires and phone calls, responding to sales inquiries and troubleshooting problems in an extremely timely manner.
-Assist customers in using website functionality to configure accounts
-Assist customers deploying and using voip software on their PCs and smartphones
-Test and report site/service issues to engineering
-Monitor and maintain list of prioritized customer requests
-Assist in performing signups and requested cancel transactions
-Close sales of new customers
-Send welcome emails
-Perform refund transactions via credit card gateway
-Submit and monitor number port requests
-Prepare weekly sales reports
-Develop knowledge-base of FAQs and their answers
-Monitor fraud
Join our existing team of support reps working from home for this fast-growing startup! You should be an energetic, enthusiastic individual with 2-5 years experience technical customer support for IT, customer-facing Web applications and/or voip telephony.
You should not be a clock-watcher - this is a startup and you will be expected to go to bat for the team when necessary with extra hours and dedication. If you're not that person, then please don't apply!
You should be committed to total and uncompromising excellence in everything you do. You should be able to write a clear and helpful email and be ready, willing and able to help sometimes non-technical customers through technical problems. You are patient and friendly and understand or at least are not intimidated by Windows sound devices, control panel and device manager, client/server technologies and optimally have some familiarity with Administrative back-end web tools. You are thorough and have great attention to detail.
You should have your own PC and broadband connectivity, be comfortable with Gmail and CRM systems, and be able to envision logical tests to help narrow down technical problems. It helps if you have some experience with voip services, although it's not necessary.
