Configuration Manager
Working with limited supervision, ensure compliance to all document control procedures and facilitate program configuration requirements.
Responsibilities
- Optimize, document, and train to Configuration Management practices and procedures.
- Maintain accuracy of all controlled documents, including electronic management
- Create and implement Configuration Management plans per customer requirements and internal practices
- Chair Change Control Board and facilitate change approval with external customers
Minimum Requirements :
- Associates degree in technical field, Bachelors preferred
- Five years experience in Configuration Management in a complex development/manufacturing environment.
- Excellent working knowledge of Configuration Management techniques and practices
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Resourceful and collaborative, individual initiative and sound judgment
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Working knowledge of database management
The following are a plus:
- Certification in Configuration Management
- Experience with Configuration Management on defense contracts
- Access Data Base proficiency
