Position Summary:
Provide expert on-site and remote technical support
Responsibilities:
Interact directly with our elite clients, supporting their IT needs, including:
o Cisco network administration
o Desktop/Laptop management
o Windows Server administration (2003/2008)
o Wireless hardware support
Resolve various technical needs with minimal supervision
Relationship management, anticipate and resolve client needs
Document solutions and contribute to the company knowledgebase
Requirements:
Exemplary written and communication skills are a must, with the ability to communicate clearly and articulately with technical and non-technical staff. In addition, you must fulfill the following:
Minimum 4 year degree or 2 year degree with CCNA or MCITP certification
Minimum 2+ years in information technology
Experience working with the following technologies:
o Windows and Mac hardware and OS
o MS Office 2007 / Entourage 2008, Exchange server 2003/2007.
o Remote communications technologies including RDP, terminal server, SharePoint, and VPN
o Network technologies including TCP/IP, printing, Active Directory, drive mapping, security
o Handheld devices including Treo, BlackBerry and iPhone, BES server a plus
o Outsourced technologies file services, VOIP, exchange and OCS 2007.
o Virtualization technologies Fusion, ESXi 3.5, vSphere 4.0, Parallels, Terminal Services application sharing.
o Perform Moves/Adds/Changes and regular maintenance activities for desktop/laptop computers, telephones, and printers.
o Install and maintain software on Windows/Mac desktops, laptops and servers (including system patches and WSUS).
o Educate end users regarding computer and software operations, including basic how tos and best practices. Typically performed one on one during daily tasks.
o Perform basic network troubleshooting (diagnose connectivity issues including cabling, IP addressing, network drivers / settings, and communicate with network technician for additional troubleshooting).
o Coordinate with vendors for hardware parts / repairs / replacements.
o Test new software, system patches and Operating system images for conflicts with existing applications using a defined test plan.
o Create GPO or visual basic packages for software deployment and remote administration/diagnoses of devices.
o Determine group policy settings to meet policy requirements and or business needs.
o Use business writing skills to draft end user communications and documentation for departmental processes / procedures.
o Facilitate small to medium desktop projects using basic project management techniques.
Strong management and organization skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines

Compensation:
$65-85K DOE. You will receive a communications and travel allowance, as well as medical, life, vision, dental and disability benefits.
