Overview:

Linden Lab seeks a detailed, customer service oriented Technical Support administrator to support Linden staff locally and remotely. Qualified individuals will have experience in troubleshooting multiple desktop environments as well as excellent customer service skills. This person will also demonstrate excellent problem solving abilities and be able to work efficiently under pressure . The ideal candidate will have a strong preference for working in an intimate, collaborative, and open work environment.


Responsibilities:

* Perform Tier I (on the phone troubleshooting end-user computer issues received at Help Desk via telephone, email, or voice mail)
* Monitor user problems to ensure prompt, satisfactory resolution of issues
* Excellent communication skills over the phone are a must
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
* Must be comfortable with technology and have a desire to learn
* Must have strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills
* Must have ability to effectively communicate difficult concepts to all user levels
* Enthusiasm and passion for providing assistance to customers


Qualifications:

* Mac OS (Tiger, Leopard, Snow Leopard)
* Windows OS (XP, Vista, Windows 7)
* Office Suites (MS 2003/2007, Google Apps)
* Browser Experience (Firefox, IE, Chrome)
* IM ( Skype, various IRC clients)
* Linux experience a plus


Education and Experience:

* High School diploma w/some college
* 1-2 Years in some type of customer service/help desk role
