As part of the Equinix's Network Tools group, the Senior Network Tools Developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of network applications and tools. This position reports to the manager of the Network Tools group.

Responsibilities:

• Design, Develop, Test and Maintain automated OSS-style virtual circuit provisioning system for Equinix's ENNI product.
• Work with ENNI and Network Architecture teams to identify requirements
• Coordinate with Applications and Database teams on protocols and standards of the system
• Balancing the workload across multiple projects according to established priorities.
• Identify the application of new technologies and processes and provide help to effectively integrate them into Equinix's products, services and/or operations.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum 2+ years experience in network provisioning/automation.
• 2+ years experience with OSS/automated provisioning systems
• 2+ years of development in XML
• 2+ years of development in at least one major scripting language (Perl, Python, PHP, Expect etc)
• Understanding of the networking fundamentals.
• Experience with network monitoring systems and SNMP.
• Experience with Oracle DB and SQL is a plus.
• Experience with C/C++ is preferred.
• Self-motivated team player.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
