Growing IT company looking for an engineer with 7-10+ years experience, including solid skills with MS Exchange, security, file systems, operating systems, networking, backup and disaster recovery. Engineer will be well versed with trouble-shooting traffic and packet level problems, hardware issues, file system issues, and general workstation and server issues. Engineer will have experience with security (IP and port level), enterprise malware solutions (A/V, spyware, and spam), file system data recovery and analysis (sector level), server hardening, drive search/analysis, and experience dealing with large data sets. Engineer must be able to think on their feet, have a great deal of real-world experience, and be able to incorporate new technologies into existing knowledge store.

Applicant must be polished, move fast and accurately, and be able to communicate clearly with executives, attorneys, partners, and other high-level clients. The successful applicant will clearly understand that solving the problem is not always the same thing as finding the technical solution. The problems we solve are often extremely complex, and often very important to the businesses we are solving them for.

The successful applicant will be a fast learner, and should have a strong intellectual curiosity and knowledge set. While, clearly, this is a position requiring a great deal of experience, the team is very strong (average of 12 years of experience), and gaps in knowledge can be filled or covered. There will be extensive opportunities for cross-training and there is a great deal of exposure to new technologies. This position requires someone who figures out what it will take to be successful, than makes sure that happens.
