Summary
The IT and Data Center Manager is a hands-on technical expert and is responsible for end to end IT operations. This role is responsible for not only designing leading-edge architecture, but also implementing the architecture.

The ideal candidate possesses at least the following attributes:
* 7+ years of the following:
* Data center infrastructure management in a 24x7 production environment.
* Network design, build out and administration
* 5+ years of the following:
* Building and managing an n-tiered web-based application architecture.
* LINUX/UNIX administration
* VPN and firewall programming, including SSL and IPSec
* 4+ years of the following:
* Enterprise Storage management and implementation, including SAN, NAS,NFS,DAS
* VMware ESX experience, including vSphere 4.0
* Blade computing infrastructure
* Security policy implementation on Windows Server and Linux
* Building Oracle database deployments including RAC
* MS Exchange 2003 administration including clustering
* Managing production Weblogic 8.1 and higher
* Backup administration, including tape and disk based solutions
* Managing IT Helpdesk support staff on Windows XP, Vista

Required Skills:
* Must be detail oriented, organized, and have strong multi-tasking ability
* Strong problem analysis and troubleshooting to resolution

Responsibilities:
The IT Manager will oversee day-to-day IT related activities, maintain strict client SLAs for high application availability, provide leadership the IT team, coordinate with business units to deliver IT related products and services according to schedules and deadlines, manage vendor relationships, drive requisition process for all IT related purchases, communicate with department heads and management to provide reliable and usable information that is applicable to IT and business problems. You will be required to learn all legacy applications running on SqlServer 2000 and be able to troubleshoot. You will submit annual IT budgets and participate in corporate planning. Upgrade production and corporate infrastructure and software during scheduled maintenances. Ensure recoverability of all intellectual electronic property using reliable and efficient backup technologies. Monitor system utilization trends to validate capacity planning efforts. Manage assets prudently to refresh technology to support ongoing product platform requirements. Your department has a 24x7 on call requirement.

Education
* A minimum of Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Computer Science from a well recognized college or university.
* Master’s degree (in above fields) is highly desirable.
