Fast growing Government contractor is seeking an experienced IT professional to serve as the company’s Information Technology Manager. The position reports to the Controller and is responsible for designing, planning, coordinating, directing, executing, and managing all information technology functions and services. Provides administrative direction and support for daily IT operational activities. Defines and implements company IT policies, procedures, and best practices. Works closely with key decision makers to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support the most cost-effective solutions for all aspects of company IT requirements and operations. Leads the IT Department’s operational and strategic planning activities, including fostering innovation, setting IT strategies, planning and prioritizing projects, and managing the allocation of IT resources. Also implements and supports ERP system solutions. Competitive candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, IT Management, or related discipline; minimum of 6 years experience as a Management Information Systems manager; well versed in IT security, network management, and optimal server configuration; prior experience with ERP system implementation and support; must exhibit an exceptional customer service orientation.
