Position Overview:
Responsible for installation, programming and support of all major products including but not limited to: Avaya- Partner ACS, Merlin Legend/Magix, IP Office,ACM/Definity, Cisco UC500, CME associated network facility/LEC interaction, circuits and services associated equipment including converged telephony applications, voip, servers, call center and structured cabling.
Understanding and ability to perform basic and advanced telecommunications for both Voice and Network/IT installation, service and management
Essential Job Functions:
• Perform installation, connection, testing and fault location and correction of cabling
• Performs both basic and upper level design reviews
• Perform installation and troubleshooting of Systems and all associated devices in accordance with installation practices and policies
• Demonstrates use of tools and test equipment for testing circuits and services, including, but not limited to: CO trunks/LS-GS, Tie, E&M, DID, FX, T1/PRI, Frame Relay, Network – LAN/WAN
• Interact with multiple vendors and suppliers
• Perform complete site surveys including but not limited to space/environmental, cabling, power, lighting, service and equipment requirements.
• Perform some project management and/or training of onsite customers
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Activities:
• Avaya/Cisco and other technical certifications and knowledge – product and general
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, with a strong understanding and ability to perform testing on all services as required, onsite and remote.
• Strong telecommunication knowledge and skills
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• 10 years plus of basic and advanced field/technical service/cabling/voice systems and Network experience
• Strong Project Management/Organizational and Technical Training skills
• Team player and leader with strong communication skills internally and with customers
• Ability to work independently

- Compensation: $50,000- $80,000
