As our Berkeley based Network Engineer, you will leverage your technical background in Windows 2000/XP and, if applicable, your experience with Mac OS X and Apple peripherals, to configure and maintain client networks. Your breadth of technical know-how will prove vital as you build and maintain Microsoft Windows servers, work in the Active Directory environment and troubleshoot cross platform issues. An MCSE or similar Microsoft certification is highly preferred, although not required, as we expect you to ultimately get certified when the time comes. Your personable attitude and excellent communication skills will come into play as you visit clients on-site to audit their networks, prioritize issues and make recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. You'll work independently to install, configure and troubleshoot various software and hardware and your ability to work in a team environment will also be key as you work closely with our team to escalate issues.
