Online mobile phone reseller in San Francisco is offering one paid IT (Information Systems and Technology) internship program with the opportunity to learn and apply industry standard best practices. We are looking for students that are currently studying in the following disciplines: Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering and Mathematics. There will be consideration for individuals with majors outside the above listed disciplines as long as there is a clear demonstration of experience and practical application of technologies.
Internship Highlights:

The incumbents work hours will be will vary depending on class schedule anywhere from a minimum of 10 hours per to a maximum of 40 hours per week. The initial training to succeed in the internship will require a commitment of 40 hours per week for the first four weeks.

Requirements:
1 year of UNIX/Linux experience
1 year of Windows 2003/2008 Server experience
Thorough understanding of networking, TCP/IP protocol, firewalls and security
Experience with Apache, Bind, MySQL, Nessus, OpenLDAP, php, Samba, snort, ssh and VMWare ESX
Live within 30 minutes of downtown San Francisco
Schedule permits the commitment of at least 10 hours per week towards internship
