This is a full-time position with a leading, high-traffic social entertainment website. We are seeking an engineer with 3-10 years experience with several of the following:

High-volume Java/J2EE servlet-based applications
Spring, Hibernate, and similar frameworks
Data service layer / ORM experience
Presentation layer experience including AJAX-based web applications
Demonstrated experience with scalability concerns
Work with third party web APIs and partner integrations, especially with Social Networks
Knowledge of multimedia-oriented web engineering (Flash/Java applets/3D/image processing/streaming media) a plus
SQL/Perl/reporting/data warehousing a plus

You will be part of a small, fast-moving team of engineers helping to grow an already successful product. We need someone who is self-motivated, requires a minimum of hand-holding, and is flexible with regard to process.
