Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on software specification and requirements.
• Set milestones, estimates, and prioritize assigned tasks and deadlines for testing projects.
• Work with development, support, product management for customer issues.
• Continually increase the complexity and test coverage of System, Functional, Stress, Performance tests.
• Perform hands-on testing for complex feature on a variety of platforms (Windows and Unix) and enterprise applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members.
• Identify real world software use cases.

Requirements:
• 4+ years of software testing experience
• Self-Starter – ability to quickly learn new tools and products.
• Must be a team player with “can-do” attitude.
• Action-oriented, detail centric, quality minded, have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills and ability to collaborate with others and handle multiple tasks.
• Passion for software quality and enjoy partnering with developers to solve issues and create solutions.
• Strong Windows background in regards to OS system internals.
• Working knowledge of networking essentials.
• Good understanding and sufficient testing experience of client and server application in Unix/Linux.
• Working experience of application testing with Database (Oracle/SQL).
• Expert troubleshooting and reasoning skills.
• Proficiency with SQA concepts, methods & experience in creating test plans, reviewing test cases, driving test team, resolving customer issues etc.
• Good understanding of test automation using Java, C++, shell scripting in regards to back box and white box testing.

• Strong plus / Success factors
• Knowledge in API testing, Citrix, VMWare, Windows Utilities and Testing Tools.
• Experience in working with security software and testing knowledge of system and application security.
• Experience working in Agile development environment
• Excellent time management skills to multi-task across multiple simultaneous projects, tasks, defects, product releases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as exemplified by clear issue explanations, documentation and effective intra- and inter-group communications.
