We are looking for a highly self motivated team player to lead our front-end development projects. The ideal candidate is looking to step into a leadership role, overseeing a small team of engineers and designers.
You will be responsible for making sure the user interaction with the website provides the customer with an excellent experience, keeps them coming back, and makes them want to recommend it to their friends and associates.
Must Have Experience for This Job:
• Have developed production level code from design mockups.
• Front-end development of JavaScript projects.
• Object-oriented JavaScript.
• Very strong debugging principles.
• 2+ years of JQuery use on the job.
• 3+ years experience with integrating JavaScript and PHP on the job.
• 3+ years experience on the job working in a Unix environment.
• Excellent on the job experience with source control and bug tracking tools.
• Understand interface with back-end PHP and XTML and CSS.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering highly desired.
• Startup company experience
• Willing to put some “skin” in the game for a big reward at the end of the game.
• Understand and have on the job experience with using JavaScript for such projects as calendar interfaces and complex WSIWYG editor interfaces.
• Ability to work well with others on projects and successfully meet deadlines on time.
• Work on site at office, no virtual or telecommuting.
• Must be local – no relocation available.
