Our Company

Position Description
This role will help validate existing and planned features for the GoGrid and ServePath product lines, in manual and automated fashion.
Job Duties
The QA Engineer is a critical part of establishing and maintaining the quality of our product. The responsibilities include:
* Write test plans and test cases based on specs and product knowledge
* Execute Web Application and API based test cases manually
* Automate GUI and backend tests using Selenium (JAVA/JUNIT) and Perl/Python
* Perform front end and back end testing
* Troubleshoot and isolate issues, file bugs and work with developers
* Collaborate with a remote QA team
* Execute automated tests and pro-actively improve automation coverage
* Participate in deployment to production and subsequent production smoke tests
Qualifications
Required
* Strong Java skills with preferably 1-3 years of overall testing and/or development experience
* 1+ years of coding skills (as part of dev/testing/coursework/internship)
* Equally comfortable with Linux and Windows OS (must have Linux based work experience)
* Good scripting knowledge (Perl, Python or Shell)
* Hands-on experience with backend testing with good RDBMS (SQL) knowledge
* Good mathematical and analytical skills
* Good grasp of testing concepts and methodologies
* Good test planning skills
* Bachelors in Computer Science
Desired
* Experience with any performance testing tool (preferably open source) is a plus
* White box testing / development experience
* Proven ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks/projects
* Basic Linux/ Windows Sys admin skills
* Proven automation framework development skill sets
* Masters in Computer Science
