Position overview
- Design and develop Java components building on existing frameworks and creating new frameworks where appropriate.
- Design, Implement, and document RESTful protocols while paying strict attention to the details of network overhead, client memory limitations, protocol evolution, and backwards compatibility.
- Participate in all phases of the development life-cycle including input into feature definition, design, implementation, quality assurance, and deployment.
- Participate in formal and informal code reviews.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate would possess the following qualities:
Senior Java engineer with 5+ years of experience developing with Java/J2EE technologies.
Prior experience with Tomcat, JAX-RS, JAX-WS, CXF, Spring, JMX, and JUnit.
Experience building/designing publicly facing distributed systems with stringent uptime requirements.
Experience with Linux.
Experience with particiated in or submitted a patch to an open-source project
Demonstrated ability to develop under tight deadlines while applying best practices to ensure a minimum number of defects.
Experience in Agile development methodologies.
Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail.
Has a passion for delivering high quality products.
Has a strong desire to participate as a collaborative member of the team.
