The IT Applications Project Manager will lead the development and delivery of business application projects across the company. This includes the leadership, coordination, and completion of project definition, planning, design, development, testing, and deployment. This individual will work closely with business groups to define business objectives and translate those business objectives into technical solutions. The project manager will be responsible for day-to-day project management activities such as, project planning, budgeting and communication. This individual will lead the development of appropriate testing, training, and transition plans to ensure seamless implementations, and will coordinate testing activities between business and technical stakeholders. This position will manage relationships with 3rd party vendors, including contract negotiations and recommendations for future enhancements; prepare systems for compliance with SOX; and participate in the development of corporate standards for system use, reports, and processes. He/she will work closely with the management team, responding to evolving business requirements and determining how technologies will continually assist these needs. The individual will also work with various lines of business to manage and prioritize ongoing support and maintenance activities across the applications suite.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field.
- Eight (8) years of project management experience engaged in all aspects of project life cycle from requirements definition through development and implementation.
- Six (6) years demonstrated experience as a systems analyst or programmer designing or developing enterprise applications utilizing scalable RDBMS back-ends.
- Six (6) years experience facilitating Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Application infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated strong technical leadership and project leadership for a variety of professional service engagements and technical projects.
- Demonstrated achievement in driving changes, process improvement, and having a significant improvement of quality and service levels for users, applications, communication, and processes.
- Functional project experience with data modeling techniques such as use cases, business rules, entity-relationships, data dictionaries, and schemas.

Certifications:
