We are currently looking to fill the position of Core Resource Engineer. In this position, using web technologies including Java and Flash, you will develop the core resources used in www.IXL.com, our math practice Web site. You will create and maintain the site's meaningful content, browser compatible display components such as graphs and diagrams and our math technology libraries. Ideal candidates will be creative, thoughtful, proficient in programming, and familiar with mathematical concepts.

Qualifications:
BS/MS in Computer Science or related field;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Familiarity with Java and with Unix/Linux and Windows development environments;
Understanding of relational databases;
Interest in helping people learn through technology.
