Responsibilities
•Active testing of Mac and Windows based Anti Virus products. Both white box and black box.
•Perform Functional testing, performance testing, writing test strategy, test cases and setting up test beds.
•Develop test automation scripts using Perl and/or AppleScript.
•Perform code and design reviews on code written by development engineers.
•Report software defects in detail yet simple manner.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science [Required]. Masters degree in Computer Science [Preferred]
•Minimum 7+ years of QA experience.
•Must have experience in testing Mac and Windows based products and applications
•In depth knowledge of Mac OS X and Windows operating system internals, system administration, and system security is highly desired.
•Ability to troubleshoot basic defects, networking, and operating system problems
•Must be able to identify and learn new technologies quickly
•Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

•Team player; the ability to work in a cross-site team environment and to communicate complex issues in a simple manner.
•Provide functional and technical expertise in a product domain area such as AntiVirus and AntiSpyware and system level testing on variety of platforms (Mac OS X and Windows)
