Job Title: SW Engineer
Location: Mountain View, CA
OpenTV is seeking a Software Engineer with 3-6 years of experience working in enterprise application development and troubleshooting for its Advanced Advertising group. The Software Engineer will develop and support functionality and enhancements using C++, MFC, C# and Oracle among other technologies.
Job Responsibilities:
Research and troubleshoot problems in the software.
Work with the Customer Services team to provide technical assistance for ongoing maintenance issues.
Follow established processes for documentation, development cycles and build management.
Develop innovative and high quality software solutions using best-practices with minimal supervision for identified problems in the software.
Participate in requirement reviews and design reviews.
Work with the Project manager and provide estimates for the tasks assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
3-6 years experience developing and maintaining commercial enterprise-level applications.
A minimum of B.S. degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
Strong experience in C++ (Visual C++ preferred) development.
Good experience in relational database development, preferably in Oracle and PL/SQL.
Good experience in C#/.NET development.
Ability to quickly isolate and troubleshoot issues.
Ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
