Quality Assurance Manager
Leading platform-as-a-service (PaaS) company, Caspio Inc., is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to lead our QA team.
The ideal candidate will be a great tester who loves to break software and is looking to take charge of a team of his or her own.
This position has the unique opportunity to work from home.
Responsibilities
- Lead our team of 4 QA testers
- Define, document, communicate and enforce QA best practices
- Create test plans for our platform-as-a-service and supporting software
- Work with product, services and support teams to reflect real-life customer scenarios in QA
- Work with development team to reduce regressions and improve service performance
- Work with support team to proactively identify customer-facing issues
- Develop test automation to increase our velocity and efficiency
- Show QA team how to break product features in as many ways as possible
Requirements
- Hands-on experience creating test automation for web backends and AJAX interfaces
- Demonstrated examples of writing and communicating best practices
- Demonstrated examples of concise and precise test plans
- Working familiarity with .NET environments
- Experience in both waterfall (traditional) and Agile development environments
- Permission to legally work in the United States
This position reports into the VP of Products.
