Summary of Role:

We are an E-commerce company with 24x7 production environment seeking an experienced Java Developer responsible for creating detailed technical specifications, developing application and system code, participating in code reviews and module testing, deploying Internet and Intranet web-based applications and supporting ongoing maintenance.

Specific Responsibilities but not limited to:

- Full life cycle development (from design to implementation) and maintenance of web based and/or standalone applications with highest level of web security best practice in mind with focus on core Java
- Work closely with professional from other technical units, including 3rd party/consultants, on project basis
- Hands-on experience in production support and troubleshoot, and maintenance for high quality of UI requirement
- Participate effectively in an on-call environment with other support members/engineers to maintain a high level of availability and performance
- Excellent communication skills with non-technical personnel and 3rd vendors

Technical Requirements:

- years hands on experience in production web development with n-tier UNIX based environment
- Java/J2EE, web services, XML, JSP, JDBC, EJB, HTML, JavaScript, and Oracle SQL, PL/SQL
- Strong business process concept and experience
- Oracle BEA Weblogic server in cluster or other Java based clustered application servers in customized framework
- Knowledge of computer networking and security
- UNIX based script languages
- UI design experience a plus
