Senior Software Engineer – Ruby on Rails

We need people that like to be challenged on scalability and you have to want your work to be used by hundreds of thousands of users every day!!!
What we use:
• Ruby on Rails
• Apache + Passenger
• PostgreSQL
• XMPP (ejabberd)
• Message queues (starling / RabbitMQ)
• Full text search
• Git
What you'll do:
• Help design and architect new features
• Argue about the right way to do things
• Work closely with others to help develop features
• Take ownership and help test, release and maintain the code you write
• Research new technologies that will help Yammer remain competitive
• Work on scalability
• Enjoy reading blogs from people using a tool everyday that you’ve had a huge role in developing
• Must have at least 2 years of Rails experience.
